Appeals and Complaints

The Journal is committed to handling appeals and complaints fairly, transparently, and in line with the COPE guidance on appeals and complaints.

Authors who wish to appeal an editorial decision should contact the editorial office in writing, stating the manuscript reference and a detailed, point-by-point response to the editor's and reviewers' comments. Appeals are considered by an editor who was not involved in the original decision, and the outcome of the appeal is final.

Complaints about the editorial process, publication ethics, or the conduct of the journal may also be submitted to the editorial office. The Journal aims to acknowledge complaints within a few working days and to provide a substantive response as quickly as the nature of the complaint allows.
