Journal and Publisher Role

Journal and Publisher Role

This page sets out the relationship between the Journal, its editorial team, and its publisher, in line with the COPE Core Practices.

The editorial team has full responsibility and authority for the content of the Journal and for decisions on which manuscripts to publish. Editorial decisions are based solely on the scholarly merit of the work and its relevance to the journal's scope, and are made independently of the publisher and of any commercial or political considerations.

The publisher is responsible for the administrative, technical, and financial support that enables the Journal to operate, and is committed to upholding editorial independence, ethical publishing standards, and the long-term availability of the published record.
